Houei Trading is extending our information network on a global scale and our network for the buying and selling of various steel products is in a state of continuous development.
In order to guarantee the connections in our domestic and international buying and selling network we have established overseas operations in addition to trading with businesses in other countries. By offering a complete service for buying, shipping and selling, we have expanded sales opportunities for our suppliers, and have enabled our customers to seize revenue opportunities, and offer our customers a business chance which connects Japan to the rest of the world.

Steel Product Trading
Flexible Response
Houei Trading aims to provide a high quality and swift service in order to make a contribution to people’s lives through our steel products business.
We import steel materials and sell them to end-users in Japan. Furthermore, we are able to reduce import costs by negotiating directly with steel producers in other countries.
We undertake regular imports of steel products in order to meet the needs of our customers in the domestic Japanese market and this means that we always maintain a steady volume of stock and can meet orders in any volume from 1 unit to 1,000.
Products handled: steel plate, H girders, sheet piles, thick steel plate, thin steel plate, steel coils, steel rods, steel wire, steel pipes, second-hand steel materials, etc.
Steel Scrap Operations
Enriched Prosperity
At Houei Trading, it is our aim to make a contribution to the development of global industry. We stockpile steel resources at ports all over Japan, load it onto ships, and send it to destinations in Asia such as China, South Korea and Taiwan closer at hand but also to destinations further afield such as Vietnam.
We undertake export operations from ports all over Japan, mostly in the Kanto region, such as Kawasaki in Kanagawa and Daiba in Tokyo, but also from ports in Hokkaido, Hokuriku, Aichi and Kyushu, and by doing this we are able to offer services to our customers based on the collection of accurate information from the Japanese market.
Furthermore, by exporting from all the regions of Japan we are able to handle greater volumes of scrap, and this makes it possible for us to supply our overseas customers in any country more smoothly.
Scrap grades handled: Heavy scrap, H2 scrap, new arisings scrap, shredded scrap, scrap prior to gas-cutting, pig iron scrap, billet scrap, slab scrap, bloom scrap and others
